Accessibility

Our aim is to make this website accessible to the widest possible audience. We have built our website to comply with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C.) This page provides information on some of the key accessibility features of our website and how you can alter your settings to suit your individual needs.

Language Translation

Our website makes use of the Google Translate service to deliver our content in many different languages. Should you prefer to read our website in a different language, you can select a language by using the “Select Language” drop down in the top right hand corner of our website.

Fonts

Our website makes use of default system fonts found on modern operating systems. This means that should you alter your default system font, then the same font will be used whilst browsing our website. If you are using an older operating system, then our website’s font will default to Arial.

Text Size

All text on our website has been styled with non-fixed values. This means when you alter your web browsers text size, the change will also take effect as you browse our website. To alter your text size, please reference your browser’s help system.

We have also implemented controls allowing you to alter the text size of our website without the need to change your browser settings. This can be done from the “Accessibility Controls” drop down at the top left hand corner of our website. You can choose from small, default, large or larger text sizes.

Colour Scheme

Our website makes use of a high contrast colour scheme which helps improve the readability of our content. Should the default colour scheme be insufficient for your needs, we have implemented controls allowing you select alternate colour schemes. This can be done from the “Accessibility Controls” drop down at the top left hand corner of our website. You can choose from our default, high contrast (light) and high contrast (dark) colour schemes.
